German 6th Army Aviation Rgt

The 6th Army Aviation Regiment was part of the 6th Panzergrenadier Division from 1980. Army pilots lived and worked at the Hungriger Wolf airfield for over 44 years until it was closed in 2003. The Waldersee barracks were their home.
